- Gather all necessary documents: In order to renew your maid’s visa, you will need to have their passport and a copy of their visa. You will also need a copy of your Emirates ID and a copy of your tenancy contract. Below is a list of all the needed documents:
- Original Emirates ID and Passport of Maid
- 3 Latest Photos of Maid with white Background
- Original Medical Certificate of Maid
- Salary Certificate of Sponsor
- Original Passport, Ejari Tenancy Contract(RERA), DEWA electricity bill of Sponsor
- Maid Job contract/labor contract with Salary written on it and approved
- Take your maid to a medical fitness exam in an authorized center.
- Visit the immigration offices branch of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
- Go to typing center and submit all the necessary documents.
- Maid’s labor contract will also be updated at typing center. They ask for the salary of the maid to sponsor. The contract has to be signed by the maid and sponsor.
- Wait for the visa to be issued: After you have submitted the necessary documents and paid the fees, you will need to wait for the embassy to process the visa renewal. This can take several weeks.
- Collect the visa: Once the visa has been issued, you will need to collect it. You will also need to get your maid’s passport stamped with the new visa.
It is important to note that the process for renewing a maid visa in Dubai may vary slightly depending on your maid’s home country. It is always best to check with the embassy for specific instructions.
